Stardust Readjusting to City Life With Her Humans

At the beginning of June Erik, Stardust and I made the long journey back to Minneapolis, from Champaign.  She was not a good car rider, and needed to be talked to the whole time.  She was so nervous that she lost a bunch of weight.  When we let her out of her carrier 10 hours later, she was pissed.
At first she was still mad at Erik for leaving, and she would hiss at him whenever he was near her.  Over time she adjusted to him being around again.  Over time she gained her weight back and now she is at a very healthy weight.  These past few days she has sat in the big window watching the world go by.  She has even gotten brave enough to venture out into the hallway.  She has started running around like a crazy cat when she wants us to go to bed.
I was gone this weekend for a wedding and she slept at the foot of the bed when Erik was in the bed.  Last night she came up into the bed and snuggled with us while we were watching tv just like she used to, and for the last few nights she has slept at the foot of the bed.  I think she likes it here.
