WooHoo! Hubby has agreed I can keep Mommy cat!!!

Just want to let everyone know that hubby has agreed that as long I can get the same adoption deal of $60 from the Shelter, I can keep her.  I already talked to the volunteer earlier about it and I can!!  He just doesn't know that yet.  What he doesn't know won't hurt him.  I want to get her shots and FLV test immediately so that she and my other cat (9 month old Smitten) can at least play pawsies under the door. At this point I can't allow any contact at all.

I already love her.  She's black with two tiny spots. 1 white and 1 brown.  Her face and body appear to be an Oriental.  She is so sweet and loving.  She has adjusted quickly.  I am so happy!!!  If I could I'd be that crazy lady down the street with all those cats!   LOL. Not a hoarder.  But she will be an indoor cat whether she likes it or not!  She'll adjust.

Momma cat went to the vet today for shots.  Very healthy but underweight.  She is eating better.  And will be spayed on the 11th.  Had her tested for everything so now she meet the rest of furry family members.

I  have no idea.  After work, he went out to the pool with the dog.  Had a couple of beers.  Couple of hours later, he asked me If I were going to send her back as we'd agreed.  I lied and said of course!  He looked down and said "OK, if you really like that cat and can get the same $60 deal we got for the baby kitten, we can keep her."  I contacted the shelter volunteer and told her. I'd already talked to her about this.  So tomorrow, she goes in for an exam and shots.  Spayed later.  I'll drop a $60 "donation" at the shelter tomorrow. The shelter is using part of emergency funds to do this for me.

Anyway, I'm getting this done before he changes his mind!! Actually he is a softie at heart. Once he saw her and turned on the charm, he was hooked.

Woo Hoo- I want more kitties, but my parents are getting up there in age and we have one cat who won't move when he is laying on the floor.  Dad gets huffy at him and occasionally gets mean.  Oliver gets him back though :)

Oh Sara that is such great news...how did hubby go from 'absolutely NO way' to 'okay' in such a short time???....momma must of just moved in and grabbed his heart too.

That's really great news.  If I came home with another cat, my husband would greet me at the road with a shotgun.  I wouldn't even get in the driveway.  LOL
