Lightheadedness feeling and slightly restricted csf flow

Does anyone have slightly restricted csf flow and lightheadedness as their main symptom? I have pain and discomfort at the back of my head too but not all the time. Has anyone had surgery with only lightheadedness?  The csf spaces at level of my foramen are correspondingly small maximally about 1mm thickness?

Hi Alana,

I have restricted flow, lightheadedness, dizziness and some neurological symptoms plus the pain in the back of the head and neck and headaches. Haven't seen my NS yet.

But today I went for a stress test to rule out heart problems causing the lightheadedness and they had to stop after two minutes because my BP was 236/51. So I just wondered if you have had your heart checked. I am wondering if my symptoms could be entirely my heart, and not the chiari at all.

The cardiologist told me hypertension can cause neurological problems.

Hi Alana, when I first was DX'd I didn't think I had many symptoms....but the more I realized what were symptoms I found I actually had more then I thought.

I was DX'd after having a drop attack which most thought I fell or passed out....but I knew that was not what happened and not until I understood Chiari and found a Dr did I know just what had happened or how many symptoms I really had.

Do you have a Chiari specialist?

Did they rule out a syrinx? In cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine?
