Brain ventricles enlarged?

Hi I am in the process of finding out why I am having debilitating symptoms after so many years of living "well" ; specially rare headaches .... My Neurologists of 23 yrs asked for and MRI of my brain because he suspects that maybe my ventricles in my brain are enlarged? Anybody with Chiari that has this? God bless you all!

  Thanks Molly....I wasn't sure and I am not sure how long she has had this condition....I would imagine if she had this since an infant it would have been discovered sooner....

hi! just saying a bigger head size would only occur if you had hydrocephalus since you were a baby because the plates in your head weren't fused yet. hydrocephalus in an adult doesnt change the size of your head it caused the ventricles inside your head to swell but your actual head won't get bigger

  Hi it is possible if u also have hydrocephalus that the ventricles could be enlarged...I am not sure if that is what ur Dr suspects.....

Do u know if u have a larger head then most?...just a random question for my own on this....just wondering....a typical head measures approx 22"
