Can Chiari Cause Legs and Ankles to collapse?
Hey Guys it's been awhile was decompressed in 2015. I was wonder can Chiari cause ankles to collapse? Here lately i have been having issues with my ankles suddenly collapsing and bending in could chiari do this?

Not Chiari itself but a related condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome....it is a connective tissue disorder and can cause loose joints....causing them to sublex or move out of joint or collapse.......Did you have EDS ruled out before surgery?

selmaS no i didn't. I also have a possible blood clot in my leg but trying to not bring anything else up with my doctor
You need to give all possibilities to Dr to help him/her determine what is going on.,,,,,,other wise it will drag out longer .
