tremors?

Lately whenever I am standing I get these wierd tremors going from the back of my neck down my spine and sometimes in my legs. It feels like it is vibrating like someone zapped me with a tuning fork. I also get these wierd pulse like sensations at the top of my neck where the base of my skull is. Anyone else get these symptoms?

Funny...  I call it "being strummed" like a guitar string.  Amazing how alone we all try to find ways to explain what is happening to us, often to non-believing doctors, and together we find out on this forum that others are feeling exactly the same way.

I get this too.  Feel like others can see my head moving as its a tremor in my neck that moves up to my head and down spine.  I try to lightly stretch out my neck while i'm talking to stop it, sort of helps.  My pcp told me to do that, not sure what else i could do.

Hi Yes like Selma said we all describe them differently, I do get them and they drive me insane!!!!!  I describe mine as buzzing, vibrating type feeling, almost feels as if some body has planted my DH electric shaver into my body, if you hold one for a period of time on high you may be able to imagine it!!!!  Hey this sounds crazy but only way I can explain it, I have had these sensations last 3 weeks at a time and they go through my spine into my legs and arms,  Wow it has caused so many sleepless nights for me.

I want to crawl away from my body when its at it worst, it usually bad at night but guess this is because im still and not on the go so feel it more.

Anyone out there no what the cause of these awful sensations is????????

Hi...yup....we all get diff symptoms or may refer to them by diff words....but, most of us have had similar sensations at some point.

It is one of the weirdest things to have one of these sensations move thru u.....that is the best I can describe it...but they do move thru u....and it can be quite scary depending on what is being affected...the area that the symptoms occurs.......
