I was shocked to hear "syrinx" while watching it!!! Lucky for the patient he removed the syrinx and she was all better, ....sad for us, that's not real life!!

Same for me about House..I don't really watch it anymore since the Chiari episode, it was disappointing. But, I'm glad to hear that it got better coverage!!
Stephiec- trust me you didn't miss anything, there was very little truth in the symptoms, how it was dx and treated...

I haven't watched House in ages, so watching the episode last night was random...bummed that I messed the Chiari episode :(
I saw it! I thought it was much better described then the one about chiari ! I was watching it with my mom and dad And as soon as we heard it we all started cracking up. I no that is a weird reaction but it was just kinda commical that something I have was on the tv. It was accuried tho from a car accident

I'll have to watch. It was laughable when they thought a patient had Ankylosing Soondylitis last season. The symptoms were completely off! I have AS, so I'd know ;-D
neither have i! and i missed it! thanks for the heads up, though...it will be on again later, i'm sure!
Hi...no, I stopped watching House after the chiari episode....but more and more they r using these conditions for these shows...how well they r depicted is quite another story.
What did u think of the story line and how a syrinx was described?
