Hyper mobility is EDS tho....??
Yeah, I do not get those twitched ne more tho, only b4 surgery and the first yr or so post op...but not lately....
I know with EDS, which is a connective tissue disorder the absorption of vitamins and minerals from natural sources as well as supplements....so I wonder....
I am sure if u have EDS or hyper mobility he would refer u to Dr Francamano....
I don't know for sure if it's the cause or not. Honestly I don't remember if he said hyper or hypo mobility... He did refer me to a nutritionalist to help with all of these levels. One thing he said was he had a theory that some of the facial twitching that occurs with chiari could be tiny blood clots... I guess that makes sense to take aspirin to thin blood due to small vessels you mentioned earlier...
Henderson ordered a spectra cell which is blood test that checks vitamin levels ... I have low vitamin e, selenium, asparagine and pantothenate... He said I do not have EDS but have a mild connective tissue disorder.
So glad to hear all is going well with u....I have heard rave reviews on Dr H from so many that have been to him, great to continue to hear more : )
May I ask which vitamins ur levels are low on? Vit D, B12?....
Yes, regular work and exercise... I have low vitamin levels so he put me on a supplement daily. I still have a cycles of symptoms twitches, minor hearing issues I've noticed a lot is brought on by stress. I've just accepted it as a part of me! Henderson is great by the way he ordered a series of new MRI and test... Everything is good so far I have been blessed.
Hi and welcome back !!
I was told to start taking aspirin too, but it really bothers my stomach so I never did, I understand it is to thin the blood so it can travel better as we not only have a smaller space in the cerebellum, but some of the veins are smaller too...and could be y ur Dr suggested this.
Glad to hear u r doing so well, may I ask what u do on a daily basis, are u back to a reg work schedule and active lifestyle?
U may continue to see and experience benefits for a while yet....I know I still noticed changes up and to this summer compared to last and I am 4.5 yrs post op....
I have never heard of those levels being low,,,,,,,Vit E...hmmm selenium, that is an element...and asparagine, pantothenate....The other 2 are an amino acid and Vit B5.....
Do u know which connective tissue disorder.....is that the reason for the loe levels?
