Affects of stress

Hi all,

Does anyone find that stress makes the actual chiari symptoms worse or is it that the effects of stress just compound the existing chiari symptoms?

I'd appreciate different perspectives.

Yes Dear. It is a mexican beer. It's in a red can with a black eagle on the front. It's a little more powerful than regular beer. It's best served chilled with some freshly squeezed lime and a little sea salt (I say little because salt is not the best for us) and that's why I use the sea salt :-) I too have bottles of pills that have been prescribed that I don't want to take... Can you explain what Tecate's are?  I have tried several different types of releif for symptoms and have had no luck.  I have not heard of Tecates before and am wondering if this is something that might work for me.  Thanks.

Stress without a doubt instantly increases my headache, and like Selma said changes in the weather particularly the heat for me. I take Motrin 800mg, along with a few Tecate's. I ride my horse (gently these days) and have a damn good cry if needed. That might sound crazy but that's what I do. I try to help other people when I can and other than that I pray at times. Keeping a check on my emotions helps :-) Lisa

My symptoms in general were minimal, headaches being the worst if not the only problem. Stress really played its part if the severity of my headaches, so monitoring my stress levels helped with keeping that symptom away. Each case is very different, but like Selma said, keep track of your triggers :)

  Yes, stress, and even changes in the weather can trigger a flare...and over doing daily chores....so be aware of what u do, and keep track so u can figure out ur triggers...as we all have different things that can cause a flare of symptoms.
