I'm 5' and about 110 lbs. lots of petite women on here!
5' 4" and since the thyroid issues, I go up and down...but mostly up!! I was always a small clothing size,( 0 in high school, then gradually to a size 4 which increased after my 3 child) but even being small I was always "meaty" so to speak! My nick name was bubble butt if that helps to describe my appearance! I still have what looks like latin shaped hips thighs and booty, but much more weight than I need. I do have the old lady hands and the visiable veins with constant bruising from the slightest contact. Small wrists, ankles, chin. My nose is thin, but my jewish roots makes it very noticable on a profile!
5'8" here.. not petite :) healthy weight!..
i do have a verrrrrry small nose though haha.. not that that relates!
Oops! that's 5'3 1/2" haha
5'3 and about 125lbs most my younger life, a little more now :s I also have a very narrow nose and deviated septum. I am the tallest female in my family, lol, so I never felt petite, at all!
I have always added my 1/2 inch in there! Lol! I ws 4' 9" until I was a Junior in High School! I was terrified I was never gonna reach 5'! Lol! I could stand by my cousin's that were the same height as me when we were all younger and my legs started where their waists were! The pictures are so funny to look at we are all the same height but here I am with what looks like freakishly long legs! Lol!
@Mazie...I'm not the only runt on here! Is it sad to say I'm glad I'm not alone! Lol! They still pick me up at family reunions sometimes instead of leaning all the way down to hug my neck! LMBO! I have female cousins that are 6'4" the guys are 6'4" +!!!!!! Both my grandmothers were barely over 5'!!! but married tall men!! They were the runts in their families too! Lol!
5'9" 125lbs here! Im very thin, but not short or petite when it comes to height and build! 10mm chiari!
Im 6'3" and just over 300lbs and I am definintely not petite.
Lucky you! I used to be very skinny, off the charts; I miss it. I never had much of an appetite until I had my laminectomy. Since then I've gained 25 lb., had to buy all new pants. Gee, thanks Dr. Rosner!
Lol I eat lots of icecream.. I can even eat an entire large pizza by myself ha. I don't know it's frustrating. At work they call me green bean Lmao. Because my smock/coat for my lead job is green and I'm tall and skinny. The new doctor in my PCP office asked me if I was anorexic which really set my undies on fire lol.
I'm left handed as well :)
I read it awhile back, while searching how common chiari is, and found it in two different sites actually. I will try to find them again and post their link!
im left handed ;-) hehe,!
Mazie
Where did you read this anyway?. It seems significant to me. (although how many of us would have the same color hair, or be right handed)
I would be eating lots of ice-cream mmmm!
By the way I'm the smallest person in my family.. I'm not sure if that is related but my family has a lot of big women (over 200+lbs.) And I'm like the oddball... and I out eat them.. lol. Idk why I'm so small. They all bug me about it.
I'm 5' 8.5" and 107lbs. Lol.. I have had terrible time trying to gain weight. My.doctor even.suggested I drink Ensure's but yeah they never helped... I think I have a high metabolism, because I NEVER exercise yet I've always been toned (ABS even).
Yep...petite, too. I'm 5'2".
5"3" and 110 lbs.
Hmmm, this is interesting. Didn't know there were so many of us short stuffs here...lol.
I am 5'9" which is tall for a woman and I have chiari, eds, and Pseudotumor
The study just said it was found to be more common in females, and even of the females, a very high percentage were considered petite (under 5'4) we know it doesnt just affect one group, or type. Just a few articles i thought were interesting and was curious about our group! This was just a curiousity question!
@MARINE corp, i am the runt also!
mazie
We need him in our club, to dispell any stereotypes, lol.
