good luck,i hope you are symptom free after words
Thank you Selma and gooroo!!
Just try not to worry. The hardest decision has already been made. Just enjoy your Holidays.
Make sure you are ready to take it easy for a few weeks. The recovery really isn't all that long - around 1 - 2 months will get you back to light duty shape. When you are home, try and get plenty of rest and quite time - if you have kids, try and arrange for babysitters or time at their grandparents or whatever, because you'll need rest and quite.
You might want to look into a really comfortable pillow. Some people have mentioned them on these boards . . . selma? lovemygirls? . . . anyway, the first few days home will be kinda miserable, but you'll start gaining your strength back pretty quick. Just give yourself time to heal.
Then you get to be a zipperhead!
You know, the best part of having this surgery is that I now get to be part of "the club"!
True about the hardest part! Now everything else will just require a commitment versus a descision, I hate making descisions...
and Shane...the pillows r avail thru ASAP website.
