That makes A TON of SENSE to me!!! I know exactly what you mean! That is the same with me! So yup, I know what you are talking about! :)
Yeah I have that too.....my Drs called it a neurogenic bladder...???? But is related to me having tethered cord....
For yrs, I did not get the sensation I had to go, I would just get pain that radiated up my spine I would be bent over in pain, after I would go, it felt better, so I used that as my meter for when to go so it would not get bad.....Now I feel like I have to go all the time and I get hot if I do not go right away...again my Dr said this had to do with having a neurogenic bladder....fun... The start and stop is annoying, but what is worse is if neone tries to talk to me...I have to really concentrate in order to go, if that makes sense.
Yes I had that and it came out abnormal or whatever they call it for that. They said different things about it. 2 doctors told me that it was abnormal and probably neurological. It is hard to tell though what caused that. My husband said I pee weird. The uro people said that I don't empty my bladder completely and that is why I pee so many times. Another issue was that I start and stop, start and stop. It is just weird. I know that there are a lot of people like that though with those issues.
With EDS we r more likely to develop scar tissue...so, it all makes sense and I would think they can see that....and if u do have it and are having issues as a result they would help u.
Have u had the urodynamics testing of the bladder?
Yeh I had the herniated disc surgery plus it was broken. There is some other things on my MRI that I didn't mention as well, but I don't have it with me. I wanted to add it to my message in the radiology forum, but I already added 2 more things to it.
Is it in an area u had surgery? That would make sense,,,,,
I was told I have scar tissue and one doctor said he saw something else but never said what. I still believe Dr Di that I have TC. I wish he was practicing again. However, I hope things get better with him and his health as well.
Hi,,,,it may say tethered cord if it is clearly seen,When not seen the word occulta may be used as there may be other indicators u have one... it may also say thickened filum, spinal dysraphism , tight filum terminale syndrome...or mention a cyst . Fat deposits or scar tissue is usually a reason or source for the cord to tether.
The different terms indicate in what manor ur cord is tethered.
