I feel your pain.  Every day believe it or not will be a different day.  I can't say better. I'm still dealing with  the healing process, and I struggle with depression because of it.  I used to be very active and now I just try to do a little every day and I'm 1 yr post op.So be prepared for a long recovery.  I was just like you thinking Oh I'll have the surgery and then feel better.  I found out the hard way it doesn't work that way.  It is flustrating.  Like yesterday being halloween.  I would usually dress up put strobe light's out with music and every thing and I just sat here and cried because I had to admit yesterday those day's are over.  I just gave all my stuff to my neighbor which now I can watch him enjoy it, even though it was hard to do, but now I can move from this and go on to something else.  Right now you need to focus on healing and pratice patience.  We all feel your pain and flustration, but it will be a better day tomorrow as long as you take it easy.  Your in my prayer's

U r kidding me ...no exercises for ur neck?....ugh

I have a chart in my profile  page...it shows the exercises...not all of them, but I do comment below the ones I was to do and how u r to do them.

U need to move ur neck to help avoid scar tissue from forming....

Here is the link to the chart-http://www.medhelp.org/user_photos/show/171420?personal_page_id=197028&photo_collection_id=1369

This is all normal as we have been saying...I didn't like my hair up as it felt too heavy....

I still do not lie on the back of my head...I was told to sleep on my side and that is what I do.

I was also told to do exercises for my neck...I still do those...do u have exercises u do?

This is very common to get depressed at this stage feeling u r not getting better....but, u r healing....and with time, rest and patience u will feel better.

No 1 can tell u how long it will take u...we all heal at diff rates....and have diff issues as well as chiari going on that may impede the recovery process.

   Try and relax : )
