I'm looking for People who only have tethered cords

I do not have a chiari or spinabifida.  I have a tethered cord.   Anybody out there like this.  Would like to know about cord release surgery and if it's worth it?

I am glad u have ur forms for TCI....

My leg pain has subsided, but I sit alot so i do not have the same issues as when I was working full time.

Where r u having ur uryodynamics testing done?....I pray all goes well.

My symptoms are usually similar to fibromyalgia and arthritis.  However since about October.  My leg pain and lower back pain has been horrible.  It used to be that if something woke me up I couldn't fall back to sleep because of calf pain.  I have to shake my legs like RLS.  Now my leg pain is waking me.  Sometimes I'll be asleep for less then 10 mins and the pain wakes me and I can't fall back to sleep for hours.  I started Baclofen about 2 weeks ago so that is helping me sleep.  My lower back pain was still bad so I got a Facet injection on monday.  The area was sore the past couple days but now I'm getting better.  We'll see if it helps at all.  I did print the papers to make an appointment for TCI in NYC.  I go for uryodynamics in April.  So far other than peeing about 16 times a day my bladder isn't too bad.

hmmmmm....I have TC, but also have chiari.

I know of 2 people who had the release surgery and both r very happy with the results.
And both had Dr B at TCI in NY.


May I ask what symptoms u r having?
