Blue Glue for Patch in Chiari surgery
Hello,
I'm searching for information on doctors that use blue glue for the chiari surgery patch.
Do you know if they use this at TCI. Is this a new technique. Does anyone have experience
about this?

...well like I said I had glue, not sure if it was the blue glue u speak of......
I also am not sure if everyone will get glue and sterri strips as opposed to staples and stitches....but bcuz I have EDS which causes my skin to be fragile I had the glue.
Do u have a chiari dr?.....r u planning ur surgery?

Someone had mentioned that their doctor used the blue glue and I thought that was new and upcoming, so I was wondering about it.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
I had my PFD at TCI and glue was used...not sure if it was blue glue tho......I have EDS and because of fragile skin staples and stitches can be an issue.
I also can not say for certain that only glue was used internally on the patch, but I know my scar did...and sterri strips.
