doctors don't believe me

I have chiari malformation type 1 and psudeotumor cerbri i recently have had two shunts placed a vp and lp. lately after my latest surgery i have started to have twitching and spasms in every part of my body and nerve pain in my back and legs and muscle weakness i told my doctor and he told me straight up that i was lying i am so aggravated with this paticular doctor but have no insurance and no options i am not sure what i should do i am a 20 year old student

i did try to get an appointment with him but i am currently fighting with medicaid and am trying to get them to expedite my reguest for insurance but it is just taking forever

seeing how you are in Florida , one of the top chiari experts is there. Try to get an appt with Dr. Barth Green .

((((hugs))))......I am sooooooooooooo disapointed with drs...if they don't understand-ur lying...omg I pray u find another dr willing to listen to u. Is the dr u r seeing a chiari specialist? I have had the spasums, but nothing like u r experiencing.

I am outraged but the treatment u are receiving.....please check out the site www.asap.org- they do have assistance for those that can not pay......u mentioned u r a student...try ur student body and see about a fundriser....and get to another dr fast!!
