looking for help

I was told by my neurologist I had cerebellan extension of 7mm she said she would not refer me to a surgeon at this time. I have always suffered with headaches even as a  small child.  I was diagnosed with psuedo tumor celebri when I was 22 does anyone know if they could be connected?

Hi nana and welcome to the Chiari forum.

Yes, Chiari and having ICP ( older term was psuedo tumor cerebri) are related conditions

It is possible to find out if your herniated cerebral tonsils are due to congenital Chiari or acquired.
