Hi Molly,
So sorry u passed out.....I know that can be scary...were u out long?
What type of job do u have?....
I feel so bad I was not on here earlier to reply....I hope u r feeling better and u get some answers as to what is going on....I am assuming this is shunt related?
I have had the feeling like I was going to throw up and then the black, but I have never actually passed out. Good luck to you
I hope your doctor will call you asap. They found out for me that it was a heart related issue when I faint. Take care of your self.
ya i felt like i was gonna throw up and then everything started to go black and then i hit the ground. we called my dr and r waiting for a call back thank u guys!
molly
Any loss of consciousness should be cause for an immediate 911 call and a trip to the closest emergency room for evaluation and treatment by an M.D. . It is important to do so because cues to what is going on may disappear with time. There is often only a small window of opportunity for resolution of a problem before there is permanant damage. Failure to do so may result in a lifetime of paralysis, pain, blindness or neurological dysfunction.
:( it scares me to think i might develop fainting with this condition... I hope i never experience it. I hope u never do again also.
Did u have any warning signs? Or did u just go?
