possible glaucoma - chiari related??

Last night I went for my bi-annual eye exam and learned that I have high ocular pressure in both eyes.  I had the same finding in 2007 and was evaluated by an opthomologist who did not find any reason for concern. I have been referred back to the opthomologist because this is the second measurement that is high.

Does anyone know if this could be related to the Chiari?

Hi...not sure to give u a answer right now, but I will do a bit more research.....I know the ICP can affect the eyes with pressure and chiari can cause us to have ICP even if it is limited until we release it with surgery....or if it causes it to increase due to surgery...either way chiari is involved.

U do need to also look at family history as well....

I don't if it's related, but my eye doctor told me that I have abnormal ''donnut'' (I don't remember the real name, but that is the thing that catches the light at the back of the eye!) shape in the back of my eyes and that it was pre-glaucoma.
