some different symptoms

My main symptoms are severe back pain in the thorasic spine area. I also have had back spasms in different areas of my back. I have had these problems for 7 months. The last three weeks I have had severe neck and pain in my shoulders. My vision has gotten worse but I do not have problems with diziness headaches or balance I went to the "spine center" because they did not see problems with the MRI of my lower Lumbar and Thorasic spine. The Doctor told me today that she saw something that concerned her in the neck and back of the head area but they need to do a full MRI of the neck and brain to see this. My back and neck pain is awful but I do not have some of the other symptoms. What do you think???

I have to wait untill Tuesday for an MRI of my brain and my C-spine. The doctor at the "spine Center" saw something there by chance when they did a MRI of my lumbar and T-spine. SInce I didnt have that many symptoms my MD ignored it.

I havent had the headaches, dizziness problems or ear problems but terrible back pain for 7 months and now neck and shoulder pain. I just wanted some insight since I have to wait a week for an MRI. If it was you would you try to demand an MRI sooner?????

Hi...not everyone will experience all symptoms listed for ne condition....some may have some that r not listed...everyone is different.
Were u dx with chiari?.....my symptoms cycle....what I have this month, will be different from what I'll have next month..... not knowing what the dr saw on the MRI...it is difficult to speculate....I will say, if u r dx with chiari, u need a chiari specialist.....NS that work on spines may have their specialties, but if it's not chiari....find one that is!!!
