Make sure it will not cause an interaction with ne other meds u r on first...so talk to ur Dr, I was and am just amazed at how much better this helps me sleep....and feel over all.
wow, great idea selma! I knew someone that did this with her migraines but I never thought to do it for the CM aches and pains...been dealing with this alot myself as of late. Will have to give it a try!
Something I found that seems to work since this last ER visit...I was told to take a antihistamine along with my pain meds...I only had ones that make me drowsy so I took b4 bed, and found I slept better, ,woke a bit more refreshed and this is helping my PND and my usual morning aches and pains....this is after I stopped the pain meds, I continued with the antihistamines as I wanted and needed the sleep....ne way I feel a diff even when it is going to rain.....so if u do not take these, do ask ur Dr b4 trying....but this is working for me.
As the storm approaches....my head sure does feel it. GOOD LORD help my head, this is hell. The storm should be making its landfall within the next 2-3 hours. So far we still have lights and water, so I will try and post as long as I can. Pray for some relief for my head please. Geesh, I have never felt pressure like this. Hope my gulf coast chiari family is feeling better than I and fairing the storm well. Loves
Praying for ya'll down there! I'm hoping it looses some gust as it gets closer! I dont think I saw, or overlooked it, are you on antibiotics for the sinus infection? Severe sinus infections are a HOT button for me as they believe thats what caused my meningitis and Dx of Chiari...I had to go on 3 different ones before my body responded...if not, please be sure to get to a Dr. as soon as its safe to do so!
Watching the updates and keeping the south close to my prayers! Keep us posted!
Melody, I was never this sensitive until post op either. I am in River Ridge, which is about 7 minutes from downtown NEw Orleans. We are already getting the winds. IT will be rough, but I have been through worse. I guess you could sa ywe are as close as it gets. They expect us to be in the eye wall. We are watching BOB BRECK, and he said he thinks it is safe to bunker down and ride it out as long as your not out and about and stay indoors, so I think we will lose power, and it will gets lots of howling winds and dumping rains. I will keep yall updated as it gets closer until we lose power, but hopefully that will be a while from now. Ugh...It just started to rain here, and I believe we are seeing what is called the calm before the storm. I however can;t believe it is hitting us on the anniversary of katrina. That just blows my mind. Hope all of my coastal chiarians stay safe through all of this. Don't forget to fill up your bath tubs and dump your ice makers, and turn your fridges and freezers to their highest settings.
Love and (((hugs)) to you all.
