my 14 yr old is so out of control

Hi, I really hop i find some help. I have 14 yr old son that is so out of control he failed the 8th grade last yr and so far this yr he's doing it agian. He has a very bad temper always cursing yelling out crazy things such as I hate my lifwe I hate my family I hope i die. I had him at the age of 14 very young I love him to death I have tried so many thing counceling but he refuses to open up to anyone. I have a 9yr old and a 3 yr old I am very scared that they grow up the same by seeing him act like that I ams eeking help beacause deep inside he's a very sweet kid just going the wrong way what can I do before it really get more out of hand? Somebody please help us

The school should be involved in this.  At his age, while what happens at home is important, its about what the school is doing.  Is there a study team involved?  Has he been evaluated or tested for learning difficulties?  What is the school doing - besides failing him?

Was his father like this also?   The reason I ask,  is the greatest determiner of antisocial behavior in a boy,  is antisocial behavior of the father.  It's a very clear genetic link.

Does he have any men in his life he can count on to be there for him?
