14 year old boys masturbating in class

I am a regular education teacher.  I have two male students, age 14, who have,  masturbated in class.  One more frequently than the other.  They are not diagnosed with anything more serious than ADHD. I want them to get the help they need.  I also know that their behavior is obvious enough to impact the learning environment.  I have been told this is not the case because no parent has complained.  I feel that most 14 year olds find this behavior extremely embarrasing and will not mention it.  I have been told that they cannot be removed from my class.  Please help.

Listen, I do agree that I would be uber frustrated if i were the teacher, however, it is absolutely uncalled for to refer to these two students as little s*ts.  Not appropriate and as a mother of a special needs child, totally unappreciated.  It is indeed a self soothing situation that happens with kids that have various neurological issues such as autism or sensory.  My understanding is that one attempts to have it ingrained as a private behavior only or to find alternative self soothing techniques.  And if the cognitive level and self control level of the child is so low that they can not adhere to this, then perhaps inclusion isn't the best choice.  But demonizing these kids is not helpful.  Just my opinion.

I do think it would be a frustrating situation.  (PS:  am in agreement that I'd have trouble with this happening in my child's classroom or one I taught in.  That isn't my point.  But the name calling of the students involved is upsetting to me.)

it was never about that.....,
all what your sayin about the parents etc...was never posted...
and ok..you say it is what it is!...Well,as long as admin knows hey?!!
And really...are you saying then you would turn a blind eye to this behaviour rather than yellin or screaming....?
...because my hand on my heart...on my life...the momment this behaviour come to light...ME..MYSELF...i would of grabbed the little pair of sh.ts and lashed them out and punished them to the high hilt....end of...so if you think im wrong for doing that...well frankly..i really dont care. coz i would do it over and over an over

Lisa, this has been a very long post and you have forgotten or didn't see his comments.  Emotionally I can certainly understand how you would feel, and are reacting to this.  So you must also be  to understand how powerless he must feel.
    Essentially, he has said
"They  claimed he masturbated every day, all the time last year and he did it the year

I have been told by the administration to ignore it and not discuss it with my colleagues. I have pushed as hard as I can.  I have been told by the administration I am not allowed to discuss it.  I have been dragged into my bosses office twice about this issue.  As breadwinner of my family I have had to drop it.

I have been ordered not to say anything to the students

Furthermore, I have met with both sets of parents and prior to the meetings was specially  instructed not to raise  the issue."

You have to understand the special education system and how it can protect its people.  You need to understand that there are lawyers that will sue school districts at the drop of a hat.  And, I could go on and on.   So the point is that it happened all last year.  The parents know about it,  The administration knows about it.  I am sure the district special education office knows about it.    It is what it is!   So you move on.  Yelling and screaming about it will either get you sued or fired or both.  Probably not the best choice.   That was why I gave a few other suggestions.  Hopefully, some of those will help.

i can hand on heart totally appreciate such circumstances..but,...and a big BUT!... the more i think about this post and read about it the more it quite winds me up...., I ask you?... What would u do yourself..personally..if a couple of 14 yr olds were behaving in this way?...
As diplomatic as can be in a touchy situation as anybody would first think....
BUT.. think again... what would you do if these boys were doing this..if you were in this situation etc..etc...
Im sorry...like i said,...the more i read..the more i thought and the more i thought the more i realised..and the more i realised....
I would of absolutely of flipped to "pardon the french",(and i dont think i have swore on here)...flipped to ****!..the very first time it happend..i would of lashed them boys out..i would of furiously complained to not only the principal but personally to the parents and it i would with honestly believe that without a doubt that the parents especially would know it was unacceptable.......,so all this..hiding it..and not saying anything..is incomprenensible to me...AM I WRONG?
