My 8yr old is jealous of his grandma

I have two boys 7 and 8. We are all very close. When my parents visit my 8 yr old son gets VERY jealous and acts out. He will throw tantrums to get my attention. He will get mad if we plan a shopping trip. He says I try to avoid him! I do not know what to do!

Thank you for the feedback.That is what I have been trying but i am not always consistent. I started a sticker plan today and it is working so far day one!
I am talking to my friend-the principal and she is telling me the same
Now I feel better but geesh I was ready for therapy!

Best not to feed into it , is it that he does not feel included in whatever you are doing , does the younger child get more attention from your parents, he is feeling left out so some distraction may help if you see him getting out of sorts. Dont make too much of an issue of it , you cant ignore the tantrums and if you feel he is getting plenty of attention, put him in time out. till he is quiet.
