6 yr old hearing voices/ocd

My 6 yr. old daughter has had OCD symptoms for several years and has recently started complaining that she is tired of the voices in her head telling her to do things and crying that she wants them to stop because they are getting too loud.  Her OCD symptoms include her lining things up, turning off lights, shutting, doors...etc.  Is this a severe form of OCD/ anxiety or could it be something  much worse?

Hearing voices that are telling her to do things is not a typical sign of OCD or general anxiety.  Although it is EXTREMELY rare (1/40,000), childhood schizophrenia does consist of hearing voices

Google January Schofield.  She is a young girl, 6 or 7 years of age, who has childhood schizophrenia.  You can watch videos of her online.  She is actually a very intelligent young girl, but she does hear voices severely.

My advice would be to see your pediatrician and then a child psychologist if they feel it is necessary.  If you want, you can go straight to the psychologist.  This is best evaluated by someone with experience.
