How did it go with the neurologist?
He explains that it is like an itch that feels better after he moves and he can put his finger on the part of his neck that bothers him. I don't feel anything unusual on his neck. No, his head does not lean to one side nor is he leaning over. It is a medium to quick movement but not a jerk. The pediatrician has resisted xrays as he says he does not want to subject him to the radiation. He is seeing a different nuerologist today. We'll see what this one says.
Thank you!
My friends daughter has transient tics. But nothing like your described, she would out stretch her arm like in a quick snapping motion.
Is it a slow movement or a quick jerking one?
Can he explain how it does not feel right? like something pushing on one side or poking in the center of the neck? what kind of feeling does he have other then just the need to move it? what position is he in when you notice it more? is he leaning over? is his head tilted to one side?
Have xrays been taking of his neck?
