Why does my child vomit?

My child seems to have a vomiting problem. He pukes on a daily basis, but the doctor says that there is nothing wrong they have given him an upper GI and it came back normal. He pukes when he tastes something he doesnt like or smells something that stinks. I can even put a shirt on him and it touch his neck and he will puke, but sometimes it just comes out of no where. Like today we were walking out the front door and he just puked everywhere with no warning at all. This has been going on for months and I almost think that its just in his mind but he is only 30 months old and my doctor is determined that he has to be overeating but he doesnt. He doesnt even have to be eating to puke, he can be drinking, playing, eating, or anything. I just don't understand. What is your opinion?he is 30 months old and 39 inches tall and 40 lbs.

Almost sounds like a weird gag reflex.  But whatever, it is not normal.  I would get a second opinion.  You might try the medical side of this forum as a starter.

Look under his tongue to see if he has the tie or if the tie is way to the back of his tongue.  My daughter has this and doctors overlooked it.  She had problems eating and talking because of it.
