My almost 5yr old is not potty training!!!

Help!!! My daughter is turning 5 in Feb and she is no closer to being potty trained than when she was 2!  We have been trying to potty train her for almost 3 years now. We have tried everything from praise, to prizes, to potty stickers, pee-pee money, to discipline.  Nothing has worked.  She is going to start school in August and I was told that if she's not potty trained she wont be allowed to go.  She no longer wears pull-ups during the day, but she still wets her pants every day-sometimes 3-4 times per day.  We will sit her on the potty every hour and she will still wet her pants within 5 minutes of getting off the potty.  I am at my wits end!!!  Should I just give up and let her do it on her own?

Sorry it took me a while to remember this web site.. ( :)  ) anyway, i have a sense that she just can't hold it, but everyone else seems to think that she is just lazy and that she likes the attention.  I recently gave up and put her back in pull ups and just left it alone for a little while, but it didn't work.  She would still soak her pull ups and now because of the pullups, she keeps a constant yeast infection.  I honestly don't know what to think.

Do you have a sense that she really can't predict and manage her bladder control,  or do you get the sense that she is enjoying all this attention and rebelling?
