Sons head size and seizure

My son just had his 18 month check. He is 3% in Height, 24% in wieght and 96% in head circumfrence. He had a really bad seizure when he was 15 months and he quit breathing for awhile. He had no temp. The Dr then had an MRI done at 17 months and said his temperal lobes were lacking myelin( which I thought was normal until 2-3 years). He has had other EEGs as we thought he was having seizure when he was younger but none of the 4 they did found anything. The Dr. said his head has been large since he was 6 months old. He was not born with a large head. He also was not a back sleeper and does not have a flet head. He was a little slow to talk but is now saying over 10 words and sometimes try to put 2 words together. He is a floppy baby and seems happy for the most part. I was wondering if any one has heard of or delt with mytochondrial sydndrome? The Dr mentioned this and I thought it was a type of dwarfism but I think I am wrong. We are being sent to out childrens hospital with in the next couple of weeks. I know alot of things I have read says not to worry about head size but my some has a very large difference in height, weight and then head circumfrence. I thinnk if the was hydrocephalic they would have seen it on his MRI( at least I hope). Would just like to know if any one else was a little worried about this large of a size difference?
Thanks
