potty training

My son is 4.5 yrs old and just started school, but I am having trouble with his toilet training, sometimes he does it and sometimes he just 'wees' or poop's in his pants, he doesn't seem to care and just seems too busy to think for himself, what else should I do, his teachers are getting concerned?

I am wondering if the teachers are telling the children to go to the potty enough, many times especially if the children are new to the school routine they dont ask to go and its up to teachers to remind the children .So ask the teacher please say to him, 'Go use the bathroom till he gets used to the routine and feels confident enough to ask and go himself ..good luck he will get there .
