Frankly, I think you were toilet trained and not your daughter.  As a grandmother, I've seen this scenario happen again and again ...

Sorry - no negative intent was intended.  By the way, the same thing happened to me with our youngest son - I thought he was "trained" when he was not.  When I reread my posting, it did sound harsh - again, that was not the intent.

im a mother of four and this is my youngest, all my children have toliet train at diferent times, not one the same as the other, i would apprectate that u do not pass jugment on me and stick to the facts, i'd say that by now that i know the signs of a child that would like to have a go on the potty or not!!! so if you'd like to tell me of a great hint or some great worldly advice, seeing you have years, years of grandmotherly experence and keep it about the child and not me !!!

Children very often are so concentrated and focused on what they are playing with they do not want to be bothered to 'go' maybe a reminder may help them ..good luck

Hi! my son had same problem at first i thought it was a bladder problem, so took him to the doctor, and found out that sometimes their little bodies grow faster than their bladders, or other words "life changes"......

Also another reason could be they are playing or into something and just ignore this and have accidents, so i started taking my son to bathroom every couple hours(again) and kept on the routine, and gradually worked off.

Now, he is 6 and still has problems with it, especially #2......he gets too involved with playing or tv or coloring , etc, and wont try to go till last minute resulting in accidents, also if you get irritated or mad when these accidents happen, there more prone to do it more,

Also with my daughter now, when she was young she actually got an UTI!! i didnt know how or why since we always washed good and did potty time but girls catch them so easy!

But,  Accidents are to be expected.
Especially when they are playing/concentrating hard on something and don't notice the signal that they need to go.
It's best to keep interrupting what ever they are doing at regular intervals for potty breaks so they can at least try going whether they think they need to or not.
Even 5 and 6 yr olds can have some trouble with this, so it's not uncommon.
If your  worried about UTI or an irritation, she should go easy on the bubble bath at bath time and have her drink some cranberry juice during the day (maybe mix a little in with other juices).

Hope this helps a little :)

I have found children that are potty trained too early regress more times than not..they were'nt ready in the first place, you say she has been trained for 10 months and is 2 year old ..... Make sure she has no irritation, infection going on , that could make her want to go a lot.
