I've been doing to research on liver failure for my brother-in-law and came across livergenex and was wondering if anyone knew if it would help a patient who is already in stage three of liver failure?

What do you mean stage 3 liver failure?
Do you mean Child-Pugh Class C irreversible End-Stage Liver Disease?

The only thing that can prevent someone with End-Stage Liver Disease from dying in the near term is a liver transplant.

The Child-Pugh Score is a scoring system used to determine the prognosis with cirrhosis and need for liver transplantation. It is divides cirrhosis into 3 classes. A, B and C.
Class A - compensated cirrhosis.
Class B - decompensated cirrhosis with complications such as ascities, bleeding varices, etc.
Class C - End-Stage Liver Disease which requires a liver transplant for the patient to have a chance to remain alive as their liver fails.

The Model for End-Stage Liver Disease (MELD) score is used by transplant centers to assess severity of liver disease and the need for liver transplantation.

Your brother in law should have a liver transplant center caring for his liver disease. They are the only medical specialists that can help a person is suffering with liver failure.

For patients with very advanced liver disease vitamins, supplements, herbs and over-the-counter-drugs can cause serious to fatal complications. You should never recommend that a person with advanced cirrhosis do anything that is not approved by their hepatologist.

Best of luck to your brother in law.

This is the fine print disclaimer at the bottom of their own web site, so I would not place much emphasis on this type of 'health' product being able to help someone with severe liver failure. Consult a liver specialist.
