Hi, Malb, I think you were already pregnant when you slept with your ex. Your positive pregnancy test was 6 days after sleeping with him, not 7 (remember 30 days hath April) and that is a very short timeline for any hCG to make it into your system, let alone show up on a test. It is unusual if the embryo is implanted in the uterine sidewall yet. If this was a home test, it is even clearer that this baby was already around when you had sex with your ex. Also, you would have had a period by April 28 if your last period was in March, and you didn't. The conception calculator i use suggests you conceived in a time period from April 11 - 15. I'd try not to worry. Do a DNA test when the baby is born so you won't stress over this forever, but it just does not sound like your ex was the father.
I thought as much but what scared me the most is the fact that my due date from LMP dec 27 was way far from my ultrasound due date Jan 12. And my boyfriend has always been with me for all my appointment, So can't freely talk to my doctor. I don't think I can't stand the DNA result. I may die before opening it. Thanks so much for your reply Annie, it sure helps
So what if your due date from your lmp is December 27? That does not say anything. You ovulate when you ovulate, some women ovulate later in their cycle and some ovulate earlier in their cycle. You said it "scared" you -- why? All it would do, if you believed it rather than the ultrasound, is hint that you were even further pregnant when you had sex with your ex, it would certainly not suggest your ex was the father. The only thing that can suggest to you when you might have ovulated (and conceived) besides a DNA test, is an early ultrasound.
