2 possible father's.

Good day! I have a paternity question. Hopefully you can help as the math makes me dizzy from if they used your LMP and so on.

My cycle occurs 28 days with 4/5 days of menstruation. LMP was February 22nd - 26th 2016.
I had unprotected sex with #1 on February 28th 2016.

Then I was assaulted & raped March 3rd 2016 by #2. He used a condom and medical staff informed me there were no obvious signs of seminal fluid.

My ovulation did occur during the 4-7th as I did notice my fluids changed.

I refused PlanB because the risk was so low. But tested positive for pregnancy March 24th at my follow up visit. I refused an abortion - as that's my choice.

April 3rd I had my ultrasound - showing exactly 6 weeks with a Crl of 0.30cm (I swear it says cm on the ultrasound)

I was wondering the chances of it being #1 Vs #2. #2 is currently awaiting trial due to what happened and luckily we've been  able to keep my pregnancy hidden from him so far. I'm perfectly ok with it being either - but if it's #2 I will have to keep it hidden or start planning for a whirlwind of custody issues or else he could contest for rights. So just needed the odds from a trusted person so I can start planning if it is his. Regardless - I love this baby deeply so I don't mind a fight if it comes to that. Luckily #1 is willing to DNA test once I deliver. We're trying everything we can do to prevent #2 from knowing - but if trial is set before I deliver, it will be obvious. Thank you ahead for any input!

I would recommend Ravgen for sure, if you want to do a prenatal test.  On the other hand, it's costly and if you are OK on waiting, I would save the money for baby needs.

Thank you, we both (#1 and I) have discussed the prenatal DNA test but as much as I want to know for sure - some of the research I've done shows they boast less than optimal success/accuracy so we are pretty set on waiting for a more solid answer DNA wise once the baby is born. I've read countless times on forums where they prenatal test the mother for certain screenings and a lot of inaccurate genders are provided. If the gender can be easily misread by my blood and the babies - I have doubts on a accurate DNA test.

I find out the gender July 6th. So will post it when I know.

That's what I've concluded as well, that it's likely #2. I'm pretty well educated and trying not to get optimistic on one Vs the other.

I think from your ultrasound that the chances of the baby being from guy #1 are lower than the chance of the baby being from the rapist, unless you had sex with guy #1 again after February 28.  But the margins are so whisker-thin that it is not possible to say this absolutely.  Do you know if the baby is a boy or a girl?  Do you have the money to get a prenatal DNA test from Ravgen or the DDC?
