Who is the father?

Need some help/advice. I am now 12 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Today is 12/23. Cannot remember the exact day of my LMP but I'm estimating around Sept 23-25. I broke up w/my boyfriend and had sex w/my ex on Friday night/Sat morning of Oct 9th. We used a condom and me and my boyfriend do not use protection. I'm pretty sure I had sex w/ my boyfriend that week around Monday the 5th-Wednesday the 8th. I know for a fact we did not have sex that Friday because we had a huge fight and thats when I slep w/ my ex. My first ultrasound was at 8 weeks and 1day and that was on Nov 20. So that meant the day of conceptioin was on a Thursday. I know for  a fact I was not w/ my ex on that Thursday because that was only once and that was on Friday night. But now my recent ultrasound put me at 12 weeks 4 days and that falls on that Sat. How off is the ultrasound and is there a possiblilty the baby could be my ex's??  I've also heard that sperm could live for a few days before actually conception so is it possible that I had sex w/ my boyfriend that tuesday or wednesday and my conception is Thurs or Friday???? Your feedback will be greatly appreciated...

If the condom didn't break you are driving yourself crazy for no reason, but the spoting could have been when you actually conceived. It is preaty common for someone to spot the day they conceive!

Thanks

We were afraid that it had broke, so I tested it under a faucet to show it hadn't and it didn't have a leak.
Also, extra information, I had spotted on Oct 3rd some brown discharge but that was it and then never got my period again. I had been having periods twice a month so was thrown off w/all that. I'm thinking maybe if I spotted brown on the 3rd that I was already possibly pregnant?? And that would make it my boyfriends??

amnio is a dangerous procedure as it can cause miscarriage i would ask your doctor's opinion on it and really think about whether or not your willing to risk it.

That's really not true since condoms do break and are not 100% effective even when used correctly.

Thanks. No, my boyfriend doesn't know but cracks "jokes" that if I'm sure it's his. We had been off and on around that time and the month before that. I only had sex that once though w/ my ex w/ a condom. I know thats all it takes, but hoping and praying it's my boyfriend's baby. I'm thinking of doing prenatal dna testing. I believe it's amniocentisis? Just to tell my boyfriend that I want him to be completely positive this baby is his so he could be fully excited w/ me through the pregnancy. Going to inquire more about it at my Dr.'s appt next week.

Since the date conception is only an estimate. Not even a doctor (unless IVF or something is done) can give you an exact date. Conception is a window of about 5 days or so. Either man could be the father since the dates are so close together. and yes, sperm can live in the body for a few days before conception actually occurs. If the dates of activity are within such a close time frame, the only way to know for certain who the father is would be to get a DNA test when the baby is born.

The only true way to know is a dna...i would say its too close of a time frame to say whoes it is! Sperm can live for up to 7 days before conception occurs!! An ultrasound can be off as far as up to two weeks so its hard to say!! My guess would be its your b/f baby because you used a condom..( if it was used right and didnt break)! But like i said its a toss up! Good luck,,,does your b/f know it might not be his baby?
