Tooth Eroding Quickly

Hi All,

I'm 34 years old and I'm really concerned about my dental health.

Growing up I got lots of cavities (and nasty remarks from the dentist too).

Since I was in my early 20's my teeth have been eroding. Now it's at the point where I have next to no enamel left. My lower front teeth are really small. The last two years have seen the most erosion.

I'm frustrated, stressed and concerned. Every day I check to make sure I even have teeth left. I can't afford a full mouth reconstruction, or all of the work to make my mouth half healthy again. I need to pay my living expenses (which are constantly going up).

Any advice on what to do? Insurance will only cover $1,000. That's only one crown or tooth repair. I have a few more teeth than that in my ever shrinking mouth.

Thanks for letting me vent and for any advice.

What is the nature of the erosion? Was that explained to you?  Do you drink a lot of soft drinks?  Type of toothpaste used?  Checked for acid reflux?  Bruxing?  Please give more info. Thx.
