Dental Implants
Can I get a response from those of you that have had a Dental (tooth) implant done in the last few years. Did anyone have any problems with it, etc. I need a 3 unit crown and bridge but my dentist is pushing Implants.
Having been in dentistry as an assistant several years ago. I'm not too up to date on them anymore.

i have an implant and it was very sucessful. i was a bit scared when i had a nerve pain shooting from my jaw for a bit of time but that went away thankfully
There are a lot of nerves there so get a realllllly good surgeon to do it.
you might want to ask about bone density issues if you have osteoporosis since they are putting a post in the bone.

The implants I saw and assisted with did not turn out promising and they were done correctly.
