Dental crown and bite adjustment

My dentist filed my new crown too much on my left pre-molar, now it is not really touching my bottom teeth when i bite down. My bite is very off. A lot of pressure on my right jaw muscle. I went back to the dentist this morning and he made more adjustment on my crown but the bite is still off and now my tooth throbs. What are my options? will replacing the crown cause trauma to my tooth underneath? and will a new crown help to balance my bite?

Probably not helpful. Possible explanation of your bite problem is when the crown was delivered, there was occlusal interference which triggered neuromuscular response inorder to adapt to new occlusion. Although the interference is removed now, your neuromuscular system does not return to original status. If the new crown is really not in occlusion of opposing tooth, there would be no problem. What you can do is seeing a prosthodontist who is competent in managing occlusion.

My bite was fine until he made adjustment on the crown. Do you think replacing the crown will help?

Under occlusion of one single crown will not affect bite. There is some other cause of your bite problem.
