Allergy to composite resin
Has anyone ever experienced a systemic allergy to composite fillings? Since I had all my mercury fillings removed (by a qualified specialist) and only when I started refilling the teeth with composite resins did I begin to experience itching (a feeling coming from the inside, out). I had temporary fillings before the permanent ones and those were fine. When I first had the composite fillings applied, I experienced some sensitivity in certain teeth which my dentist redid and used a protective layer before refilling the teeth. For about 3 months now I've had to take an antihistamine tablet every other day because the itching keeps returning. I have ruled out food, chemical and environmental allergies and have been told by a gynecologist that this type of allergy is not due to hormones. I've asked my dentist if there is any test I can do but he doesn't know of any and I am considering consulting an allergist but I would like to know if anyone out there has ever experienced this and what you've done.
The allergy could be from another source but it seems too coincidental that the itching first appeared after placing the composite resin fillings.

Well... as I am finding myself in the same position I might tell you what I have seen so far.
I have worked furiously to find a solution to my very bizarre problems.
And the ONLY common factor in my life is dental composite and composite resin.
I have truly changed and altered EVERYTHING in my life. And the problem remained.
It began after an dental surgery in dec 09 and made me go insane.
Itching was only the beginning of it. It ended in fhe composite-must-go-mode as I am an autist and som things cannot be in my world.
And now... 6 months later... I have yet again recieved fillings and whole teeth made of composite and the new front was "cemented" with some form of acrilithic "glue" or whatever it is called. Sorry about not knowing the names... got polymers, monomers, in situ, in vitro and so on and forth coming out my ears now. Some get lost in the library LOL
But I found little pieces across the web about just allergenic reactions to composite materials used in dentristy. ERhm my english may be a bit bizarre, sorry about that :P
Already back in 1995 SWE government actually knew some nurses and others where allergic to composite and acrilithic glues. And it is a lifelong allergie.
And for the systematic part... well... I just had THE worst physio COMPLETE system failure and it is without a doubt caused by exposed areas of the fillings, the finishing part, the heated part is gone. And the inner part is exposed and causing havoc in my body.
Everything else is ruled out and time, relevance to exposure and so on and so forth just adds to fact.
I am reacting to it. I have found quite a bit now about it online for anyone to read. And yes one CAN have full systematic allergic reaction to these composites. My head is still hurting, my heart is still beating hard and all other symptoms are still there but a bit subdued as I have stopped the "leakage" or maybe the "exposure" of the surfaces in my mouth. But as SWE doctors do not believe in such a thing I have no clue how to ask for help in the emergency room. Not to speak of the dentist and telling him his work is outa the window because I cannot tolerate composite!? They simply don't believe me.
I have never ever been wrong in my life. I am based in Grounded Theory and Empirism. I would NEVER guess and often I am critical until I fins things CAN be a fail.
I just wanted to post this one so that someone, anyone might have use of it.
So my next problem is... getting the docs to realize the severness of my problem and then the dentist to remove the composite LOL well that is another thing and for me alone. Good luck everyone and maybe to me too :P

what was the outcome
One out of 700 people have reported a reaction to dental resin, I have had an real challenge to find any help. I now need to get a sample of resin used and get tested for a allergic reaction, it is effecting my entire oral mucosa and on teeth is a thick goo like substance.
Has anyone had their composite filling replaced or removed? Did your symptoms improve?
I have swelling under my jaw that makes it difficult to breathe. I strongly believe it is due to composite fillings in my 2 lower rear buccal pit surfaces.
I have been having problems with swollen gums for over a year, ever since I had silver fillings replaced with white composites. After reading all the answers here, at least I know it’s related to the composites. I just didn’t know who to go to to do something about it since I refuse to go back to the dentist who caused it.
I believe I have an allergy to composite resins but it is near impossible to find a dentist or doctor to help you. For a while I was traveling to Tyler, Texas (from South Louisiana) to see a dentist there. He was the most sympathetic and helpful, but even he had not seen too many cases like mine. I have lived with irritation to my gums for about 8 years. It's not gum disease. But because of expenses and distance, I just go on with my life and try not to let it interfere. I do think I will eventually have to deal with it. It's just that it becomes almost like a full time job researching and trying to find help. We are the "small" percentage that they just let fall through the cracks and then when they can't find anything, they call you crazy.
Yes, according to Dr. Omar Amin, there are many reactions to composites that have been ignored or misdiagnosed. The condition is called 'Neurocutaneous Syndrome.'
"Neurocutaneous Syndrome (NCS), a newly discovered dental toxicity syndrome (Amin, 2001) is characterized by neurological and dermatological disorders as well as systemic and related dysfunctions. Patients experience, among other symptoms, pin-***** movement sensations and itchy cutaneous lesions that may invite various opportunistic infections. Hello were you able to find a dentist who is able to solve your issues?
I have read an article by Dr. Amin and even wrote to him a couple of years ago. I think he is in New Mexico. Because of the distance, it is just not feasible to see him. If you find anyone in the South, let me know.
I have had the dental material compatibility test but the dentist who placed these fillings doesn't have any records about what was used. They use whatever is cheapest or whatever the last rep sold them and don't even bother to record which material is used.
What's bad too is even though the materials can cause a systemic allergy, the problem is in your mouth and so medical insurance wont touch it. Dot to have dental insurance. In some ways, I wonder if I was better off with the amalgams. I really didn't have any issues with them until I had the first composite filling and then a gold crown.

you will have to find a dermatologist who does "patch testing". You have to obtain from a dentist a cured piece of the acrylic material. Then go to the dermatologist, who will the place this material on your skin (under a patch) for four days. After the four days, the dermatologist will evaluate the mark left on your skin.
I was evaluated with a 2+ (out of 10) allergy to dental acrylic.
I have constant sinus infections from this allergy. I wish I could change these dental filling, but I do not have the money.
The dentist I went to was informed of my petroleum product allergy, but he put in acrylic fillings in me. Acrylic is made from petroleum.
My diagnosis to petroleum product was four years ago with a dermatologist (with patch testing). The patch test showed, I was highly allergic to nickel. The dermatologist told me not to use petroleum products (mineral oil products) because PETROLEUM HAS NICKEL SALTS in its composition. Therefore my nickel allergy is also a petroleum product allergy.
I was told the best cavity material is gold inlays (90% gold, 9% platinum), I will need to do a patch test to see if I am allergic or not. Also I was told the new glues (for the inlays) are made from acrylic, but a dentist told me the old school glues are not acrylic.
If I am allergic to gold, I will have to research ceramic inlays ( ones which do not contain radio-active material; a ceramic inlay may be composed of several materials).

I may have the same thing. I lost my career, nearly my life from amalgams in the early 80s, then my wife/daughter followed in the early 90s. In the midst of communities filled with drugs, alcohol and zero effective medical diagnosis, it didn't all connect until 2005, by then I had to leave the country to recover. BUT, recently had 15 composites to fix these and other problems. Am now suddenly fighting severe irritation in the sinuses that his shifted to just inside the lips as the toxins migrate that way. The MDs would say I have delusionary parasitosis, which I would agree with if the parasites were men wearing stethoscopes. I thought maybe the jasmine tea, too. I've quit the tea for now. We'll see...
There are also serious problems claimed to owed to BPA ceramics. I tried to ensure that I did NOT get the BPA kind, but you're in a hurry, there aren't many more places left to try, and the dentist just stares at you like you're from Mars. So, I may be reacting to BPA, I don't know. Or, it could be the jasmine tea. I know very well that the star anise in the tea was causing me a severe allergy, but I was also certain it had cleared up a candida infection in my sinus until I had to quit. Since then, I've continued to sip on the jasmine tea, but the irritation in my lip isn't much better since dropping the anise, can't tell if the toxic buildup is from the tea or what. Next is to stop the tea altogether. But what if it turns out to be the composite fillings? Life can get really weird. I wouldn't have required the avalanche of new fillings last year if I hadn't gotten into an Oreo cookie habit. Well, I learned a lesson about Oreos, but a little too late..

Mine is white resin reaction. Going crazy also. Tea is good, Aloe vera plant helps lips, mucosa in mouth
I've had chronic migraines & anxiety disorder for 10 years or so. Tried everything to get rid of them to no avail. Recently, I discovered there are different materials used in composite resin feelings and many use BPA or a derivative of it that can turn back into BPA on contact with saliva. If you think that may be what's causing your issues find a holistic/biological dentist and/or a functional medicine doctor who could help you. The holistic/biological dentist would be able to find a nontoxic BPA mercury free composite filling material to use. **Be sure they practice safe filling removal to get rid of the previous fillings. Also, working with a functional medicine doctor would be helpful as they look for the root cause(s) of what's going on to actually help you get well instead of keeping you sick.
That's what I'm doing now as I still think the composite resin fillings I have contain BPA and are what's causing my migraines and anxiety. It's the only thing left I haven't explored/tried/been tested for and it fits the timeline of when my migraines/anxiety disorder started.
Hope and pray you find answers and a health professional willing to listen and work with you. That can be an uphill battle in and of itself sometimes. Best wishes.

Not related to my problem, but I have an idea. I'd love to have titanium implants if they were affordable, never thought there could be a reaction to those. I think the other guy who said that wasn't the problem may have been right, but I don't know. Terrible problem, but it reminds me of a Herpes infection. I have had them sometimes in my mouth, cured them quickly by using mild application of Camphophenique. But to have it spread like that, wow, terrible. However, I have had a variety of skin fungal infections and severe sinus irritation that the MDs have turned their backs on, preferring to call me crazy. Well, for the last 40 years I've had good luck treating these with a variety of antifungal / antibacterial creams, meaning I'd have been eaten alive without them. I could give you a list, but kind of busy right now. Google for that subject, you can find a lot of them. Try a few different ones, alternate between one and another until you find something that works. I believe you will.
I had a severe reaction to temporary caps and now permanent caps and experienced all the things you describe, ending in a trip to the ED with anaphylactic syndrome, swelling throat, wet breathing, and near drowning in my own fluids. It's been 6 months and I still have sores in my mouth and particularly painful, over the front new caps. I was tested by an allergist but had prednisone (steroid) treatment to prevent uh...death... and once I stopped the steroids, I had a reaction on my back to the allergy patch tests that were removed 3 days prior-- the Double-component Epoxy Resin patch reacted with a huge blister and redness, inflamed and angry.
Just as you described, the dentist knows nothing, sees nothing, says nothing (love her, she was great otherwise.) The companies will not release the ingredients due to patents. I'm a nurse with a Master's and an educator so like you, I have read everything, researched, with limited results, and been baffled. THe allergist said the symptoms would go away once everything was cured and dry; yet here I sit, chancres in my mouth that are extremely painful, eyes swell shut, water. When I say swell shut, I"m not kidding, the top of the eye blisters and turns red and the entire upper lid swells over my eyes. This all occurs only over the front caps recently replaced. I have many, many caps in my mouth that have never reacted and aren't reacting at this time as far as I can figure.
It's baffling, frustrating, and I am so sick of every one suggesting it's everything from pollen to ????

It is also effecting my eye's and skin. Our systems are rejecting it.
Is it possible that an allergic reaction can only be an itching feeling that feels like its coming from inside the tooth? I have no other symptoms (skin or gum reaction) and I had assumed that getting a filling placed had aggravated the nerve and itching was just a side effect of the nerve death. The possibility that it could be an allergic reaction has me wondering. I'll take an antihistamine to see if it works.

Two months ago, I had two large mercury amalgam fillings removed and replaced with tooth-colored composite resin. I really don't know why this was necessary, but there is a new dentist at my normal place, and this was the first time he'd examined me, and it was his recommendation that the old fillings be replaced due to wear or something. At any rate, I trust my dentist, and it wasn't this new guy who'd be doing the work, so I agreed and proceeded with the new fillings.
Starting about 24 hours after this work was done, I started to have a weird taste in my mouth. At first, it was VERY metallic tasting. The dentist told me that this was due to the drilling of the old fillings and that it would go away in a day or two, no more than a week. After a week, it was worse, and it had started to burn my mouth at times. The best way to describe the sensation is that my mouth tastes sort of like that taste you get if you touch the tip of your tongue to a 9-volt battery. It's like battery acid. I went back to the dentist again, and he gave me a bottle of Perioguard and asked me to just swab my tongue with it regularly. I did that, but it was making no difference.
Meanwhile, I happened to see my family doctor later that week, and asked him about it. I had noticed that my tongue was swollen and not really fitting in between my teeth anymore, and it now has bite marks around the outside edges of it where it's pressing constantly against the insides of my teeth. In addition, my cheeks are swollen on the insides at the spot of each filling. My family doctor prescribed me a round of steroids, thinking there may be some kind of trauma to my tongue as a result of one of the novacaine shots going through my tongue during the original procedure. Those steroids did nothing.
Meanwhile, I talked to a friend (as you can tell I was beginning to lose faith in my dentist) who is a nurse and she had me send her some pictures. She has a good friend who is a pediatric oral surgeon. He told her that he believes that my dentist injected novacaine directly into my mandibular joint and may have damaged something. This seemed quite possible, since the last shot on each side had gone "into the buckle" and hurt like crazy. He said that I should see an oral surgeon about it.
I tried to make an appointment with several oral surgeons, and was told by two of them that I needed to see a neurologist. I called my family doctor back and told him what was going on, and he told me to come back in and not to worry - that he has seen this before. He calls it burning mouth syndrome. However, it's too coincidental to me that I suddenly develop a case of this burning mouth syndrome at the same time I had this dental work done, and it's obvious if you look at my mouth and tongue that the fillings are causing me a problem.
I'm concerned that I am having a severe allergy to the composite material they used for these fillings. I think I had a filling done once before in this material, but it was a very small one. These are both rather large. However, I don't have the sinus problems that some on this page are complaining about. In the pictures I sent my friend, though, the back of my throat was very red, obviously irritated by something.

I'm concerned that I am having a severe allergy to the composite material they used for these fillings. I think I had a filling done once before in this material, but it was a very small one. These are both rather large. However, I don't have the sinus problems that some on this page are complaining about. In the pictures I sent my friend, though, the back of my throat was very red, obviously irritated by something.
My mouth is always extremely dry and foods don't taste normal anymore, in addition to the swollen tongue and cheeks.

I'm having something similar happening to me. I went to a holistic dentist to have 8 mercury fillings removed, and she removed a couple of white composite fillings that my compatibility test showed I was reacting to.
I had all of this replaced with a supposedly compatible composite, and now I'm in such agony. My mouth, throat, stomach are burning; I have painful reflux, chemical taste in mouth, depression, etc. It's obvious to me that I'm now in an inflammed condition.
I don't know what to do now. Have these teeth removed (and save the good ones)? I'm seriously considering this because I've dealt with poor health all my life, and can't take anymore.
Anyone go the drastic route and take teeth out?

My mother has had problems for a year now. Dry mouth. Mucous coming out of the gums instead of saliva. Bad taste; metallic. She can barely eat. Her dentist refuses to help her, and another dentist in town won't take out the resin and put in metal/other. Anyone here have any tips on how she can get help. At the moment I am urging her to file complaints with the state Dentist Board in Oregon and to write up any dentist on Angie's List that scoffs at her and won't help her. This all started when she had old metal fillings replaced with resin.

Where are you in Oregon? I have chronic fullness/swelling in jaw area, beneath 2 fillings I had replaced with composite 8 years ago. Also have chronic red streaks in same place and rash on both cheeks. I feel attacked neurologically, feel difficulty in breathing. My dentist doesn't believe me and can't code for gold inlay replacements. Am considering switching insurance and trying gold foil in just one of my 3 fillings, but don't know if it's worth a shot. Dentist recured today and they did seem to feel somewhat better but then it seemed as if I could feel my saliva leaching the toxins again. 2 fillings are on buccal pit of rearest lower molars (one left, one right)
I've been reading and searching before I get any more work done. I'm now curious if some dentist a few years back didn't go ahead and put some sort of protectant on my teeth. I've been having problems and don't get along well with petroleum products, flouride, or methacrylates type substances. I need some filling replaced and I'm told I'll feel much better when I get the leaking merc. out of my mouth. Which I pretty sure I will. But when I ask what they are going to put back in, I am thinking no way. I have too many chemical sensitivities. I did find this page on the different cements they can use and it's pretty scary, and I can see where one could have deeper problems arising. I agree. What crap is being used to make this stuff??! I got a composite resin inlay on my back tooth as the dentist said it would look good and prevent shadows on surrounding teeth as opposed to silver fillings. I believe RelyX was one of the materials used. Directly after getting the filling, my mouth tasted metallic. Then I had to go back because I couldn't floss properly so dentist filed btwn the teeth. Tooth was also sensitive when I chewed. A few weeks later I noticed my tongue had indentations in it and for 5 months now they've been there along with a sour taste...sometimes more prominent than others. What the heck?? Have made an appointment to get this out and will get a silver filling put in...I hope that stops all this or I will go insane.
I have taken 8 otherwise healthy teeth out so far because of resin. I have 8 more that have resin on them and the torture has not ended, but I do feel slightly better. If i can get dental coverage thru obamacare I'll remove all teeth and go for dentures...

I had composite veneers placed on my 4 front teeth about 10 month ago. Since then I have been suffering with dry mouth, sticky saliva, burning tongue, headaches and fatigue. I have deep cracks in my tongue and white coating.

I have several composite fillings because my previous dentist said I had "sticky spots" he didn't want to turn into cavities. Thinking I could trust him, I proceeded to have the fillings. While most of them are very small and/or shallow I've battled chronic debilitating migraines and anxiety disorder and have tried everything else to solve this issue to no avail. I'm convinced more than ever it's due to the fillings because before that I never had a migraine nor anxiety disorder. Of course, because they are composite and not amalgam (mercury) fillings even my new dentist, a biological holistic dentist, dismissed my claims saying she doesn't think it's because of the fillings. I'm telling you don't give up. Find a holistic biological dentist who does compatibility testing. That's what I'm looking for now. Keep talking to people, telling your story, and NEVER give up. Someone somewhere has to know the answer and what is causing your problems. Please update us on what you find out along your journey.

Despite the pain I have been through, it is equally painful to read all your stories and the ignorance of the dental and medical communities on this. My nightmare started 7 years ago after a biological / holistic dentist (or whatever bogus name they call themselves) removed mercury amalgam fillings from 3 teeth and replaced them with composite resin restorations. He also found work on 8 other teeth where he placed composite restorations.
After this, raging fire appeared on my gums/jaw bones, inside my nose, eyes & head every time I ate. At times the burning was so bad, that I could not keep my eyes open or hold my head up. I also had fatigue, shortness of breath, swelling of my tongue with teeth marks, a muscle contraction at the base of my tongue and shooting pain into my head when I would swallow water causing severe bursting headaches. When I contacted this dentist to see if these dental materials could be causing my burning symptoms, he told me NO and said I probably had dry mouth.
I then consulted with a neurologist (who was more interested in prescribing drugs than trying to find out what was causing my symptoms), a neurosurgeon (did brain & cervical MRI’s), a DMD and an ENT who could find no cause for my symptoms and severe pain. Through my own research, I found how toxic these composite resin dental materials are. They are made from petroleum byproducts and contain ground metals to give them strength. The National Institute of Health even posts an article on the release and toxicity of dental resin composite.
I consulted with an Internist who agreed that the source of my severe pain was dental materials. He referred me to an old school dentist who still practices classic dentistry that was taught back in the 70’s. He only does cast gold restorations (inlays, onlays and crowns). Over the past year he has slowly removed the toxic composite resin restorations from my 12 teeth and I have gradually improved. Currently I have 7 teeth restored with cast gold restorations. Recently when he worked on a tooth, he had to make a new temporary for it and I took a step backwards because the temporary also contains petroleum byproducts. The cast gold restorations are cemented with zinc phosphate which does not contain any petro chemicals.
I was told by the medical profession that burning mouth syndrome is a menopause symptom. It is NOT a menopause symptom, it is a dental material problem. On the website 1800dentist, they list everything except dental materials as the cause of burning mouth syndrome.
Not only do the composite resin materials cause pain and suffering but they cause decay and kill teeth. While my dentist was removing some of the composite resin material from the exposed tooth surface, he noticed something at the gumline. He cauterized the gum tissue to remove it down to the root and found decay which started below the gumline and went all the way down to the root. If he had not found this, I would have lost the tooth and needed a root canal. My dentist has commented on how healthy my gums are so the burning symptoms and decay below the gum line are not related to a gum infection. The petroleum byproducts affect the pulp of the tooth, thus causing decay below the gumline where you are not even aware of it.
I hope to be finished with the 5 remaining teeth by the end of June. I will report back if all my symptoms are gone after finishing my dentistry but up to this point it has been promising.
What a sham that the Dental Association allows toxic composite resin to be on the market. They need to do clinical studies. They will find out that every person that has burning mouth syndrome has composite resin dental materials in their mouth. Even if your symptoms are different than mine, the toxic composite resin affects your entire system. Your symptoms can be different based on your genetic weaknesses. Thank you so much for your story about the allergy to the composite resin, it helped me realize that the horrible burning I was experiencing in my mouth, throat, and face where coming from the front tooth which the dentist had filled with composite resin. What also saved me is that I only had one tooth with composite resin filling and when my tongue would touch my tooth my tongue would burn. October 13,2022 is when the dentist put the composite filling. I could feel from the beginning a slight taste to this tooth, I thought it would go away. January 17 is when the burning emanating from the composite resin filling became unbearable. I finally had it removed on February 2nd 2022. I had to go back February 9, 2022 and have some more filling removed. I have no filling on my tooth right now. I just want to heal . I'm doing much better, but I've been reading that composite filling is hard to remove I hope it's all gone.
I found a doctor at USC in the dermatology department that does skin patch testing on your back for dental materials. I had a severe reaction to acrylates which is used in all composite resin dental materials (fillings, dentures, etc.). Since I have an allergy to acrylates, I would react to all composite resin dental materials. His testing will not tell you which brand of composite resin dental materials you can and cannot use. He is testing for acrylates, not specific brands of composite dental materials.
***I FEEL SICK! And I'm so glad I found this forum...I finally have proof that it's not just me. I want to say that I sincerely feel for all of you and I'm sorry for what you are going though. Please know what you are going through is real. Don't let any one try to convince you otherwise. I'm a regular person living a normal life and never had ANY issues with dental materials ever in my life. My original porcelain bridge ( no metal in it) that I had in for 7 years never caused any problems other than not fitting right and being too bulky, and I found a wound under it where my tooth used to be that never healed because part of the bridge was pushing too high in that spot.
Here is my current problem: early April this year I had my old Porcelain bridge replaced with a new bridge with a new material called Zirconium and it is very shiny. (The material feels like the coating used to make non-stick floors so you don't slip). I recently read that zirconium is the new thing to make fake teeth look more realistic. It has grooves in it and extra shiny like real teeth. During my first exam before we even started any procedures, my dentist briefly mentioned that she wants to use a different material for the bridge (which is the zirconium). I knew nothing about it...but trusted my dentist. No pros and cons mentioned, so I figured she knew what she was talking about. Long story short - I still have the zirconium bridge temp cemented in so I can see if I like placement, size, shape, etc. Since I had it in, I've had WEIRD symptoms: EXTREMELY dry mouth and white coated tongue. Loss of appetite, I feel tired a lot (I'm normally a super hyper and happy person) and I wake up with a gross white paste as if I'm a smoker. I do not smoke, nor have a ever smoked. My tongue feels huge, tastes terrible, and has blisters on the side of it. My gumline where the 3 unit bridge and one veneer is is swollen and bleeds when I brush (my gums were healthy and did not bleed prior). I left a message for the dentist re this but have not got a call back yet. I go in next week and will discuss it then. My main worry is that this materials used in the bridge and veneer, and the materials used to make all of our dental work SHINEY could be cancer causing and Leak into our bodies, swallow after swallow. Someone out here has to open their eyes and help. I know the labs and dentists make a lot of money...but at the expense of all the patients suffering and who knows whatever else can happen to all of us later...and future patients. sounds like it's becoming an epidemic. Are we all just guinea pigs??

I totally believet that these materials placed in peoples mouth are highly responsible for the high volume of cancer and other health issues experienced in today's society. I was blessed with perfect health until i had my very first mercury filling. Since then i experienced severe itching under my skin which would not heal with meds. Upon placement of other mercury fillings, i got sicker and sicker and my tests results were all negative. Doctors could not find anything wrong with me. I continued to deteriorate and my bank account decimated drastically. Of course i was ignorant of the fact that this could be the cause of my illness as my dentist reassured me that mercury has been in existence over the past 100 years and what the heck everyone has it in their teeth including him. After a number of years of suffering with itching skin, memory loss , fatigue, weakness and declined hearing, i happened to meet a young lady who also had her fair share with mercury fillings. She advised that i might want to remove them and try the composite ones instead. I did not listened when she said to me ensure it is done using protective measures and there are special dentist responsible for removal. I went straight to my local dentist and asked that they be removed. He did'nt hesitate and i sat over 2 hours to have them removed. There were two on each side of my jaw. I walked out that day from the dentist office with a sigh of relief that my problems are over. Little did i know what lies ahead. It was a roller coaster of deteriorating health issues. I experienced every form of illness on this planet. My memory was messed up, my 20/20 vision was gone, i had burning in my throat, underneath my feet and the palm of my hands. The itching had intensified. I experienced heart palpitation and my face aged overnight. I do have a story to tell the world. I travelled to the USA to seek medical attention but the doctors did not find anything wrong after conducting numerous tests. I was evaluated by a psychologist who after assessing me concluded i was not mental. Every test i did on the planet came back normal. I battled with health issues after health issues and today im functioning with only one kidney and constant ringing in my right ear- tinnitis. I came a long way over a 20 year fight with the help of detox as doctors had given up on me. I refused also to visit any more doctors, not that i had a choice though, but because i was broke. I eventually had to remove 5 of my teeth, and with each removal my health improved. Last year i decided to replace some of my missing teeth with zirconium bridge as they claim it is a safer material. Im happy that i can smile more although they are ill fitted and appears larger and whiter than my normal teeth. They are very prominent and noticable also. As to say if they are causing problems today? I believe so as a new form of illness has taken over my body in the form of arthritis and muscle weakness . I also experience memory loss, severe bloating ,breast pain and issues with my uterus and cervix. I wish that my story be heard and people learn from it. Do not remove your mercury fillings under unprotective measures. It is even safer to extract the tooth as it will cost you your sanity, your bank account and you would be told its all in your head.
