Need help

I was chewing gum and a small section of my back tooth came off. It doesn't really bother me unless I eat something sweet. I don't really have the money to go to a dentist. Is this a big issue? Do I need to go see a dentist?

It may not be a big issue, but could turn into one if the pulp is exposed. I'd go see a dentist asap just to be safe.

If you see a dentist now, you may save the tooth. The worst issue is you may lose the tooth in the future.
