Excruciating pain between 2 back teeth.

I had 2 cavities on my back molars and I got them fixed with a water laser back in September. Since I got it fixed I've had a very bad pain between those 2 teeth on my gums. I can no longer chew on that side of my mouth because the pain is so bad, and when I floss between them, I could almost cry. There is blood but when I floss between them but the blood is pale ( I don't know if that's normal? ). I will be going to the dentist in a few months for a cleaning but I want to know first if anyone knows what could be wrong and if there's something I could do for it.
