Why still pain and numbness 24 hrs. after tooth pulled?
Started antibiotics 24 hrs. ago, and pain meds. Still really bad headache and face and lips are numb. Concerned something is seriously wrong.

Numbness typically does not last for more than 8 to 10 hours following teeth extractions. If the symptoms continue, contact the dentist, as additional examination may be necessary.
