I have had a few white bumps on the front side of my tongue
for several days. The two bumps were annoying and hurt.
I remembered reading how honey had a lot of nutrients in it.
So about 10 AM in the morning I started applying honey
to my tongue and letting it stay on as long as possible
without swallowing. I was initially suprised at how soothing
the honey was to the bumps. I was also taking small sipps
of coffee to wash the honey down. I tell you, I did this several
times throughout the day, and by 10 PM the bumps
have shrunk, and do not hurt. I expect in another day for
them to be totally gone. I hope others try this and post good
results.
I have this too and it hurts so muchhhhhh
I have tried ripping it off and such bit it doesn't help
I have tried biting down on it but thy hurts way to much
I don't know what to do and I'm in so much pain
If anyone knows how to get i'd if these things please let me know
Hello, I've been getting white bumps on my tongue since I was a kid and I'm in my 20's now. My grandmother use to tell me they were lie bumps and sure enough when I told a big lie one would appear on my tongue the next day or few.lol.
But the explanation for this is that when you lie about something that ur nervouse about something happens to your body.(This is how a lie detector test detects) The white bumps come from acids in the stomach which explains how every time I told a big lie the nervousness cause my stomach acids to boil.
Thats one way, but the other ways are from smoking tobacco products and alcohol consumption. Also, foods that are high in acids which also effects your stomach acids. All these combined are factors in which cause the white bumps on your tongue.
The only treatment for this that I know is to stop your smoke, alcohol, and foods high acid consumption for a few days to a week and the bumps will go away on their own. Consumption of the three causes will only prolong the healing. If you follow the treatments and the problem still persists for a period of 2 wks then you should go see a physician.
I'm experiencing something like that in my tongue... So, any of you have the anwers of the Doctor yet??? Should I go see a Doc. too? My bumps are in the center of my tongue and has been there for about 10 days now. PLEASE, HELP!!! What do I do?
