Does quitting smoking bring stain to your teeth?

I was a chain smoker a few years back. I quit my smoking for my family. Even though it was quite difficult at first, I made it. The support I got from my family was very big. All the time I smoked, my teeth did not have any problem. But nowadays I can see a brown staining on my teeth. Did it happen because of my smoking habit? I tried changing toothpaste, but there was no use. It’s my cousin’s marriage next week. It will be so embarrassing for me if I go with this stained teeth. Can I whiten my teeth at a clinic? . Will the stain get removed after teeth whitening as I believe I got this from my smoking? Will my teeth get sensitive after whitening? I would like to have your opinion.

I'm sure that a good dentist can help remove the staining - it is strange that the staining never showed up until after you stopped smoking.
Congratulations on quitting - it is difficult (been there too,
1 1/2 years for me so far)
