Is the bitter taste in my mouth every morning when I wake up has something to do with oral cancer?

You may also have dry mouth. Dry mouth is a condition where, as the name implies, your mouth is dry, and due to lack of saliva, bacteria is able to grow in your mouth while you're asleep (and awake). There are several mouthwashes designed to help with dry mouth, such as Biotene or Act. Try using one of those and see if your conditions improve.

Hi,
It probably isn't related to oral cancer, but could have its roots in acid reflux.

It's something your medical professional should address.

Good luck.
My best to you,
Gellia
