Complex PTSD, DID, Stalkholm Syndrom...

I have Complex PTSD with DID and Stalkholm Syndrome and I self harm and struggle with SI daily.  I have 3 of the 4 F's... : Flight, Freeze, Fawn.

I am physically disabled as well with my disabilities being the result of trauma's and abuses endured for 45 years.

I have been in and out of the hospital, in therapy for 26 years, groups, DBT/CBT/etc... nothing seems to help.

Am I going to have to struggle with this for the rest of my life?  Can I be fixed?  Is there any hope for me at all?

Thank you.

Hey there, Im a 42 yr old woman with yrs of struggle from PTSD, depression and self harm. Get the book by Francine Shapiro on EMDR and read it. Radip eye movement helps so many with PTSD. I am a nurse and work at a office with alot of military patients who suffer from PTSD...several have went thru only 3 to 4 sessions and say they can not believe the results. There anxiety and depression are lessened and feel so much better. I am in the process of saving to go see someone in my area to get help and try it myself. I actually feel hopeful that it might help...and I know you could probably use alittle hope in your life as well. Read up on it and find someone in your area that does it. You may be a good canidate for it. I have tried everything else, ECT, meds, therapy...nothing has worked....so it is worth a try...there is nothing to lose...everything to gain!
