How long have you been on this medication?  I'm assuming it's Citolopram and this needs 4-6 weeks to reach a full therapeutic level.  If it has been this long or longer, you need to contact the doctor who prescribed your medication and discuss this with him.  It may be the medication, or it may be that you need an increase in the dosage, or a change of medication all together. Unfortunately it is often trial and error as to what medication will work best for us, but when we find the right one, it is well worth it!  Try to eat a little more, I know it's hard but you need to keep yourself healthy.  Exercise, even if just walking.  You may have to force yourself to do it, but it helps.  Don't go to bed until you are truly tired, and then read, or watch TV and just fall asleep doing this.  When we lie down to go to sleep we end up thinking too much, the more we think the less likely we are to sleep.  Exercising will help ensure that you are more tired when you lie down.  Don't be scared, call your doctor he will know what to do.  It's going to be okay.  You can talk to us all you want, we understand and do care.  We hear from a lot of teens like yourself, so know you're not alone.  Call your doctor and let us know what he says, and we can go from there.  We're glad you found us! Stay with us!

Have you ever slit your arm before?  Like before the meds?  I do not know a lot about depression but I know a bit about cutting and it feeling better for awhile.  I do know that it can be a dangerous habit to get into.  However if it is brought on by your meds you may want to change them as soon as you possibly can!  Good luck!

Fully agree w/mammo. Try not to do cardio it raises heart rate & increases adrenaline. If your accessible to weights do them, they tire you more-suggested by my trainer. If not, go for along run til you cant no more. Most ppl take out their aggression in working out, good stress reliever. Do you know if you have other disorders? compulsions? Whats making you cry? Have you felt this way before medication? If medication isnt helping you coping contact your Dr ASAP, this medication may not be for you, possibly causing side affects.

I've had issues with sleeping, eating, and depression. The way I personally solved those issues was changing my environment. Are you unhappy with your life?
