Thanks for your input. I have read and re-read. My curiosity is getting to me, too! Someone else suggested that nitas spelled backwards is satin, which could be a mis-spelling of satan. Hmm.
Thank you for your input. He is only 5. I'll see if I can work it out of him as to if he has seen that movie or not. I have to be careful not to lead. This is a tough one. Someone else suggested that nitas spelled backwards is satin, which could be a mis-spelling of satan. Nikki
I googled nita and nitas and found that there is a character in the Disney movie Brother Bear 2 called nita. However, it is more likely something from his imagination.... I remember when my daughter was young and say a weird shaped bean bag toy - shaped like an 8... she broke out into a huge smile, pointed at it and said "Waf". There is no such thing as a Waf but that was what came from her mind. It remained adamantly Waf. His spiritual beings will remain nitas. IMHO
Yes unless its a term the person made up you might want to ask about their cultural background. Some terms are language related. Other terms may relate to psychiatric disabilities where although their existence itself may be questioned they are acknowledged as being culturally based. You can find some of that information in the last section of the DSM-4. This might be of help depending if this information applies.
