deppressed

after a risky sexual encounter with a prostitue( received oral)..thinking of HIV (HAD 6 TESTS ALL NEGATIVE)
STILL i have been deppressed and in on sertaline 100mg for last 2months..
no improvement..
what can i do ?

my blood tests are all fine
including WBC TLC PLATELET..crp level belo 1
only slightly elevated liver enzymes..
HIV is detectable by 3months max.. i have done so
is thid deppression causing loose stools ? out of stress & anxiety ?

With most cases of depression there is many times obsession with health, especially with sex health.  From what i have read, most times HIV does not show up for years after the sexual encounter...it may be a good idea to return to that doctor who prescribed depression medicine to you and tell him/her that you don't think your dose is working and that you have become obsessed with health issues.  There are many types of meds that may help you..
