PLEASE take the advice of ILADVOCATE.  You should not be self-medicating.  There IS help out there for those without insurance.  Please make it your number one priority to get the help you need.  You must be your own advocate, and seek help.  There are a lot of resources out there.  ILADVOCATE gave you some excellent resources.  Please help yourself, and follow her advice.  Although we are all here for you, you need more help than we can provide.  We'll always be here for each other.  Promise that you'll get the help you need!  Please keep us posted.  You ARE on the road to recovery.  There IS light at the end of the tunnel.  Take good care, and again, keep us posted.

Love,

Ellen

Don't self medicate yourself. Apply for emergency Medicaid. That can transition to straight Medicaid. If you are working look up "Medicaid Buy in For Working People with Disabilities" If you are not working you could recieve Public Assistance and Foodstamps as well. If you are unable to work now because of your disability apply for Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income (SSDI and SSI). A good resource for advocacy is your local independent living center. This has a list of all the independent living centers in the United States. There's one in every county. Find the one nearest to you and give them a call.
